Finding God's heart through adventure

Where faith and wilderness meet

We lead people into creation — away from distraction into community, and towards God’s voice. Through backpacking, camping, prayer and spiritual disciplines we rediscover what it means to follow Jesus into the mystery. Under open skies, in silence and Scripture, and around campfires of shared stories, we encounter the God who restores our souls and leads us into abundant life.

Adventure heart exists to get people outside in the hopes of having them experience Spiritual Formation at the soul level.

Our aim is to create spaces for rest and reflection for a generation encumbered by the weight of a chaotic and distracted world.

Leadership development is one of the main outcomes of these experiences, as participants will engage with practical skills for outdoor experiences coupled with reflection in God's word.

As worshipers at heart, this ministry holds a strong emphasis on worship experiences in the wilderness.

The ultimate goal is that time spent in creation and with community will fuel a deeper understanding of vocation and mission, to live out the adventure of life with full gusto upon returning from the woods.

Version Two:

Adventure Heart exists to get people outside so that they might experience deep spiritual formation at the soul level.

Our aim is to create spaces for rest and reflection for a generation burdened by distraction, noise, and the weight of a chaotic world.

Leadership development is a central outcome of these experiences, as participants engage both practical outdoor skills and intentional reflection on God’s Word.

As worshipers at heart, this ministry places a strong emphasis on embodied worship experiences in the wilderness — responding to God not only in song, but in silence, awe, gratitude, and obedience.

The ultimate goal is that time spent in creation and community will cultivate clarity of calling and courage for mission, equipping participants to live out the adventure of everyday life with renewed purpose, resilience, and joy long after they return from the woods.

"Venture out into the great wilds of God's green earth, exploring, not just the outdoors and what it has for us, but also ourselves and who God has called us to be."
